YOUR LEADERS ARE NOT PLANNING FOR YOU- Sen Babafemi Ojudu

Now, before I start this story about how a Nigerian Senator representing the Ado Ekiti Senatorial district today in Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, at an event organized by RISE, the event tagged "Nigeria beyond Oil" which is aimed at STRENGHTENING YOUTH ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN THE NEXT MOST PRODUCTIVE SECTORS 'Entertainment, Agriculture and Technology' (EAT), I will like you to know I was physically present at this event and this is not a HEAR SAY.

"NOBODY IS PREPARING FOR YOUR FUTURE" were the words that came from Senator Babafemi Ojudu while delivering a speech at the event. This statement was met by ironic cheers from the students present at the event. The senator said "don't you want to hear the truth?" And the studnets were attentive once more.

He also pointed to some unforgetable failure of Nigeria in most fields and was applauded for speaking the truth. However the same students were quick to criticize the senators 'intentional' trick of not answering a question about the imigration test which claimed some lives after the senator had earlier criticized the mode in which the tests were conducted, saying "stadium is meant for playing football, and not for conducting employment test exercises". The question avoided by senator Babatunde Ojudu goes thus " as a senator, what have you been able to do about the immigration scandal?" Which he, INTENTIONALLY (I stress) ignored.

It must be noted that he also ignored the request for help from a student.

Senator Babatunde Ojudu was asked further questions about the cause of the downnfall and backwardness of Nigeria, he was quick to pass the blame on the past military regime and added that he was unjustly put behind bars for nine months by the late Gen Sani Abacha (which I believe is self justification/appraisal).

Senator Babatunde stated that the future is in the hands of youths, and that we have to take it by force, referring to a Governors statement "you have to literarily STONE us, or we will continue stealing your money"

Please take note that capitalized the word "STONE" in the statement above, I think we have to STONE them...

But not LITERARILY as they said, I believe in DIPLOMACY, let us make others aware of this development by starting a fight on social network with the hashtag #saveNigeria.

FURTHER DETAILS ABOUT THE RISE EVENT WILL BE BROUGHT TO YOU SHORTLY, I JUST FELT THE NEED TO LET YOU KNOW THIS IMPORTANT DEVELOPMENT.

#saveNigeria
