The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has given the Indipendent Natiional Electoral Commission (INEC) a seven-day ultimatum to conclude the ilaje/ese Odo senatorial by-election which the latter body tagged "inconclusive"

This was made known at a peaceful protest at the democracy square in Akure, the Ondo state capital on the 15th of April. The Zone D coordinator for NANS made the agitation of Nigerian Students Known. He said "we have lost confidence in INEC"

Another talking point was the presense minister of state for defence, Obanikoro, during the election process.

The Zone D coordinator of NANS added that the protest was restricted to the democracy park because of the Abuja Bomb Blast which claimed several lives, and are only being humane by showing their condolence.

Condolences were also sent by the Zone D coordinator of NANS to the family of the Victims and to the Nation at large. View images below... VIDEOS OF THE PROTEST COMING SOON.
